About

Hello! I’m Laura (Loops) and I’m originally from Birmingham, UK. I studied illustration at the University of Brighton where I tried animation for the first time and fell in love bringing my drawings to life. After graduating, I was accepted into the Royal College of Art in London where I studied experimental animation, obtaining my MA in 2018. 

I’m quite fond of putting a surreal spin on the mundane day-to-day and the many ups and downs of young women, especially in my more personal work. Mostly I tend to make fun, silly art that has a touch of misery every now and then.
